Good to know...

The most important thing before gluing is cleaning and degreasing! You can find suitable products in our shop. You can stick our felts directly onto metal, wood, glass, many other materials, and even directly onto your insulation (Vanue, Armaflex, etc.). When processing our felts, you should always work with a sharp knife. It's better to change the blade once more; otherwise, you will quickly get unsightly cut edges. The solution to the following riddle reduces the purchase price of your next order by €10!

Felt lining made easy

Here you will learn step by step how to professionally cover surfaces with felt. From precise measurements to installation – this guide shows you how to do it while also bringing a smile.

05

That's how it's done!

Before you start gluing, thoroughly clean the area to be felted, preferably with a suitable cleaner from our shop. Then, evenly remove the backing film from the felt and ensure that the felt is well positioned. Cut the felt with at least a 5 cm allowance to ensure everything fits perfectly. Smooth the felt evenly while applying it and gradually remove the film. Finally, you can mount the clad panels and admire the result – done!

06

Apply and install felt correctly

Carefully smooth the felt while applying it, gradually removing the carrier film to ensure an even and bubble-free surface. Once the felt is perfectly in place, you can mount the clad panels. And with that, your project is successfully completed – done!

Risks associated with the use of felt

This image humorously illustrates what can go wrong when working with felt. Exaggerations like cutting with a chainsaw or using it as a parachute make it clear that felt should only be used correctly. Fun, but educational!
