Totally off the roll – our FOOTWELL FELT - THE flooring for your camper!
The felty flooring for your camper, boat or tiny house!
With our products you can let your imagination run wild. This felt will accompany you faithfully and reliably on every project! For the perfect van conversion from the start, or to spruce up a challenge you have already begun. Our felty friend needs no extra spray adhesive and no elaborate preparation of your working area. The extremely strong adhesion and easy handling will convince you straight away. The carrier film prevents the felt sheet from sticking where you don't want it while you work, and you can safely skip the masking.
Airing out? Spray adhesive smell? Forget it!
Our FOOTWELL FELT has a special pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back that has no need whatsoever to hide from its spray-can competition - quite the opposite. Without sanding your paintwork! Butt joints can be made almost invisible, and the felt sticks to almost all materials such as wood, metal, paint, concrete, plastic, glass, Armaflex/Vanue….
Nobody is perfect!
Of course, when working with Filz Asmussen FOOTWELL FELT you should also make sure that the surfaces to be covered are free of dust, grease, liquids and other contaminants in order to achieve a perfect result. The best way to do this is with a little IPA cleaner (available in the shop) and a cloth.
You then bring it into shape with a utility knife / box cutter. Of course, you can also find utility knives in our shop that we have tested and found good! If you buy utility knives elsewhere, we recommend a version with snap-off blades so that you always have something sharp to hand.
Notes:
Even though we do our best to always offer consistent quality and identical colours in our felts, production-related differences may occur between felts or between different batches. Please check before processing that everything meets your expectations!
The adhesive surface of our felt is 1.00 m wide, the actual roll is slightly wider. Due to the manufacturing process, there is an edge that is not coated with adhesive. You can easily cut this off using, for example, a wooden batten as a guide and a utility knife, in case you want to lay whole lengths next to each other.
Does the felt hold on Armaflex? What temperatures can the adhesive withstand? Which materials are used? You can find answers to these and other questions HERE!
