Completely off the roll – our NATURAL FELT
Pure wool felt made from 100% Merino sheep's wool in two colors. This felt will faithfully and reliably accompany you on every project.
For the perfect expansion right from the start or to embellish a challenge that has already begun. Our felty friend doesn't need any extra spray adhesive or hassle-free preparation of the working environment.
Just get started!
The extremely high adhesive strength and the easy processing will convince you immediately. The carrier film prevents the felt sheet from sticking unintentionally during processing and you can save money on masking.
Flash off? Smell from spray adhesive? Forget it!
Our NATURAL FELT has a special adhesive on the back, which in no way has to hide from its competitors from the spray bottle.
Quite the opposite! Thanks to the always even application of the glue and the stretchability of the felt, even the most complex 3D requirements can be implemented with this product. Without sanding the surface!
With this you can do EVERYTHING felt.
Butt-to-butt connections can be made almost invisibly and the felt also sticks to almost all materials such as wood, metal, paint, concrete, plastic, glass, Armaflex...
Nobody is perfect!
Of course, when processing felt Asmussen NATUR FILZ, you should also make sure that the surfaces to be glued are free of dust, grease, liquids and other contaminants in order to achieve a perfect result.
The best way to do this is with somethingIPA CLEANSER(HEREavailable) and a cloth.
You can then get the whole thing into shape with oneCutter / carpet knife. You can find cutters that we have tested and found to be goodHEREof course also in our shop! If you buy a cutter somewhere else, we recommend a variant withsnap-off blades, so you always have something sharp on hand.
Mulesing? Not with us!
Mulesing is the process of cutting off pieces of skin from Merino sheep lambs in order to avoid infestation with a certain type of fly. This painful procedure is banned in many countries, but unfortunately it still happens too often in Australia! Our wool is an industrial wool blend that comes from Italy and South America. Mulesing is not used in South America because the fly species does not occur there, and it is banned in Italy.
Hints:
Even though we strive to always offer consistent quality and the same colors for our felts, there may be differences between the different felts due to production reasons. Please check that everything meets your requirements before processing!
The adhesive surface of our felt is 1.50m wide, the actual roll is slightly wider. Due to the processing, there is an edge that is not wetted with glue. But you can easily cut this off using, for example, a wooden slat as a rail and a cutter if you want to lay entire strips together.
Does the felt stick to Armaflex? What temperatures can the adhesive withstand? Which materials are used? You can find answers to these and other questionsHERE!
